Until I retired in 2015, I worked in various educational settings for over 30 years, latterly at a local primary school as Business Manager. Our family moved from Yorkshire to the village in 1987 and our three children all attended John Blow. Now, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, brushing up on my spoken French and trying to do pilates. My husband and I are big cricket fans and enjoy following England’s progress. |

I have particular interests in financial management and training and development. I am married to Charmaine and our son is currently in year 6. My professional career has been largely spent in commercial leadership roles in retail and manufacturing. My main interests are sports, particularly cricket, football and running, as well as music, where I enjoy playing guitar and singing in the band Motherwell Wednesday (named after the 2 great football teams!) |

I was a parent governor at John Blow from 1999-2002 and returned to the governing body in 2011. I retired in 2019 having worked in maths education, first as a teacher and latterly working on a number of government projects focusing on teacher development. I have one son and two grandchildren age 7 and 4. As well as spending time with them, I enjoy singing, walking, theatre and folk music, volunteering at Belton House and in the village charity shop. |
