Until I retired in 2015, I worked in various educational settings for over 30 years, latterly at a local primary school as Business Manager. Our family moved from Yorkshire to the village in 1987 and our three children all attended John Blow.

Now, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, brushing up on my spoken French and trying to do pilates. My husband and I are big cricket fans and enjoy following England’s progress.

My professional career has been largely spent in commercial leadership roles in retail and manufacturing. My main interests are sports, particularly cricket, football and running, as well as music, where I enjoy playing guitar and singing in the band Motherwell Wednesday (named after the 2 great football teams!)
