Due to Coronavirus, the school has now closed to all children other than those of key workers.

Home learning will be posted on these pages.

FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS

Please remember that despite what you read in the Media and see online that schools are closed, and that you are not expected to home teach. The ideas we have collated here are to support with home learning which are there for your child to have a go at. It is important to do and use what you feel is appropriate and manageable for your family and this will be different for everyone. Our main concern is the emotional and mental well-being (happiness) of you and your families; we know that the building blocks for education come from home and these are: love; compassion; kindness; a desire to read, learn and experience; empathy; respect; manners; resilience; creativity. Remember emotions will change from day to day- if a hug, a hot chocolate and a reading book is what works for your family for that day- that’s great; if it’s completing worksheets- that’s great too. We have tried to compile a range of activities to meet a range of family needs and circumstances. Each class also has a weekly overview if more structure is something you need. Above everything else, stay safe and happy.

We recommend continuing with Sumdog and Spelling Shed (Y1 - Y6), plus reading every day.

Y3 to Y6 -practice times tables.
